Simple Hammered Sterling silver RIng

SImple but effective - this hammered sterling silver ring catches the light as if it had facets. 

Sterling silver sheet is measured out using a special formula, annealed, filed straight and soldered closed. The ring is then pounded into a perfectly round shape with a rawhide mallet and is cleaned up with files, emery paper and polishing compound to rid it of any fire scale. It is then hammered to create the faceted effect and re-polished to a high shine. RIng with stone for reference only.
