Simple Hammered Sterling SIlver Ring with Faceted Lapiz Lazuli

A simple blue faceted lapiz lazuli is surrounded by a hammered silver halo and a hammered square wire band for a unique, comfortable artisanal look.

Once measured and cut, the square wire is soldered, pickled and cleaned. Silver sheet is punched out in a circle, hammered and a bezel setting of fine silver is created and soldered on. The setting is soldered to the band once the band is filed down for a perfect level spot to attach the setting. The ring is pickled, cleaned, polished, and finally the stone is set.
